Jean founded the setting with her husband in 2005 whilst raising her two two daughters. Her eldest daughter Laila works alongside her as the Nursery Manager. In the setting Jean will go above and beyond  to ensure we are accommodating, welcoming and collaborative with each family each and every day to get the best out of every little one as they grow up and develop in the setting.

Laila is our nursery manager presently after working in the nursery for over 10 years. She graduated in 2020 with a First Class BA Honours degree in Early Years and Enterprise at Leeds Beckett University. Laila focuses on a parent partnership in the setting and place a strong emphasis on child centred learning through aspects of the Reggio Emilia Approach and The Curiosity Approach.

 Here at Three Bears Nursery and Preschool we have a great staff team with a wealth of different experiences all shared under our roof.

We value our team having the most updated level of knowledge and understanding through their childcare relevant qualifications and CPD opportunities we provide in the setting continually. Our team also have full and relevant paediatric first aid and safeguarding training.

Each educator shares in our aims and values, and this is reflected through their time, care and interaction given to each and every unique child.
